The developer of the Springhill Suites in Voorhees had originally planned to add retail and commercial space on a six-acre parcel. Instead, they now propose a 116-unit active senior condominium building.
Voorhees Hotel Associates of Horsham, Pennsylvania, received Zoning Board of Adjustment approval for a use variance with bulk variances on July 11, and the resolution was adopted on August 8. Residential use was not previously permitted on the lot. The project will require preliminary and final major site plan approvals in the future.
