Tesla Plans Major Service and Sales Facility in Voorhees

Tesla is planning a new service and sales facility in Voorhees, New Jersey. As a result, another major development is being proposed along the Route 73 corridor.

The project is expected to span approximately 15 acres. The site is located at the intersection of Route 73 and Cooper Road. This area has become a focal point for recent development activity.

The proposed location sits next to Coopers Plaza. The shopping center is anchored by Kohl’s and Raymour & Flanigan. As a result, strong retail traffic supports the site’s visibility.

In addition, nearby development interest has continued to grow. A Wawa project has also been proposed at the same intersection. Therefore, the corridor is being targeted for continued commercial expansion.

At this time, limited details have been released regarding Tesla’s plans. However, a public hearing is expected to be scheduled by Voorhees Township. As a result, more information will likely be shared in the near term.

Ultimately, the proposal reflects continued demand for high-visibility retail and service locations in South Jersey.
