There are plans for two hotels in Deptford, NJ, situated along Route 41 (Hurffville Rd), precisely at the end of Harmony Lane.

This location is adjacent to two existing hotels, and if the proposal is approved and developed, it would result in a total of six full-size hotels within a half-mile radius. All of these hotels fall within the extended Deptford Mall / Route 42 area.

The Deptford Planning Board is set to review the proposal. However, it’s worth noting that the meeting could be subject to cancellation without additional notice, as was the case twice in 2023.

This project was initially covered by 42Freeway about a year ago, and over the past year (2023), two scheduled Planning Board dates did not take place due to additional changes being made to the plans.
